NABAGEREKA’S PROJECT - KISAAKATI EXTENDS HELP TO NABUKEERA

Remaining a God fearing person and upholding goodness and compassion for others are some of the goals and initiatives that the Kisaakati project, pioneered by the Queen of Buganda- Sylivia Nnabagereka instill in their girls and young women which is also where Aisha Nabukeera has joined.

Little Aisha Nabukeera who was severely burnt by her step-mother a few years ago joined this initiative because of her hopes and aspirations in life;  at becoming a better and more worthy citizen and also in a bid to advocate for the elimination of household or domestic violence towards children.

“The Kisaakati project betters girls and young men through the mentoring of the Queen of Buganda who I have great admiration for. I am happy to be a part of it and I hope to learn and better myself under their guidance,” Nabukeera expressed interest.

Nabukeera says she’s excited about joining the program which also trains girls how to improve their living standards by attaining basic domestic skills. Nabukeera was formally accepted into Kisaakati by Nnabagereka during the opening of this year’s one-month-long meeting at Seeta High School in Seeta, 20kms off Kampala, Jinja road.
